The pursuit to happiness:
Maybe I'm on my way to a better place,
Looking at the road.
Thinking maybe I should change my pace.
The world is full of competition
And I have to realize that it ain't a turtle race.
Got my head down cause I'm losing my faith
Cause It seems like every time I pray
Everything still seems to stay the same.
Yea we party like it’s no tomorrow
and I don’t mind being the life of the party
I just have to find the balance in me
Cause I tend to keep everyone happy, while I'm sad see.
Who knows what it is?
Maybe I just need a change of scenery.
Or maybe I just need you in my life.
Now I’m just talking to myself
“who am I playing I'm just kidding myself”
Because everyone needs somebody to touch, love
Who you can caress, get her wet, make you sweat
Turn the thing that we lay into a water bed.
I'm yearning but I haven’t found you yet.
No matter what it is I’m still on the pursuit to happiness.
I guess ill keep my goals in check
Work hard and just wait for the unexpected.
